I got this Zyliss Nonstick Fry Pan, and I am in love! It is magical! I made crepes with it, and I was trepidatious to just pour the batter in without buttering the pan first. But the crepes just slid out like, well, butter! Even though there was no butter!
If you are not familiar with Sally’s Baking Addiction, you are really missing out. Sally is the sweetest blogger (I have met her, so I can say this with confidence) and her recipes are all amazing.
Sally’s Cookie Addiction is her third cookbook. I got mine a month or so ago and am on my third recipe! (Well, I can’t bake cookies ALL the time, as much as I would like to). Have you seen these Russian Piping tips? They are all the rage, and for good reason! Now you can make a whole flower with just a single squeeze instead of building them one petal at a time. There are a TON of different sets on Amazon. I really recommend getting a set that comes with piping bags.
The other day, I decided I was going to make four pies for Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, I only had three pie plates. So I did what any person would do and got on Amazon to see what their pie plate selection was like. Holy cow! I discovered a whole new world of Polish Pottery pie plates! They are absolutely gorgeous, and there are so many different designs. They can be a little pricey, but for the person who loves to bake, they are the perfect, elegant gift.

Last year I was introduced to a company out of Australia named Dreamfarm. They come up with these quirky, hybrid kitchen products that are pretty genius. I highlighted and demonstrated a bunch of them in this post: Cool Kitchen Gadgets You’ve Never Seen Before.
The company just sent me another box of products to try, and I am loving these Clongs. They are designed to sit up on your counter so that the ends don’t touch your counter and get it dirty. But the part I like best is that at the bottom, you just press it on your counter to open the Clongs, and then press it again to close them.
I have tongs where you have to manually release and close them, and it’s annoying! I love being able to just bang the end on the counter to both open and lock these. You can see a demo of how these work here.

Am I the only one who doesn’t have an Instant Pot yet? I’m pretty sure I’m getting one for Christmas 🙂 I love that you can do so many different things with it! I’m looking forward to making yogurt so I can really control the sugar content. (Store-bought yogurt typically has a TON of sugar! Some has almost as much as a can of soda! Yikes!)

Plastic food containers can be a real pain. Have you ever tried to wrest a lid off a container, only to have it suddenly give way, come flying off, and cause you to spill the contents of the container all over yourself? I hate that! But I LOVE my Snapware, because this never happens!
With these containers, you just snap little tabs over the sides to close, and undo them to open. Then you can gently lift the lid off without trying to break a vacuum seal or feeling like you are Indiana Jones, about to open a thousand-year-old artifact that may contain something deadly that will jump on your face. Leftovers are kind of like that 🙂

Finally, any foodie will be a big fan of the Great British Bake Off and Mary Berry. Although lots of recipes on the show are complicated, this Cooking with Mary Berry cookbook has simple recipes that anyone can make. She has a ton of cookbooks, and you can also find cookbooks with recipes from the show. I’d be thrilled to receive any of them!
