Do you know what heaven smells like? I don’t either, but if I got to choose a smell for heaven, this would be it. Butter, graham crackers, sugar and cinnamon make the most wonderful combination of flavors and smells. Whenever I make a cheesecake ice cream, I be sure to include a real cheesecake crust. It is super easy to make, and really elevates your ice cream to something special.
Cheesecake Crust for Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 1 c. graham cracker crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 5 Tbsp. butter melted
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together and press into the bottom of an 8x8 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes, until lightly browned. Cool completely, then break into pieces.
Recipe Notes
When adding to ice cream, drop pieces of the crust in layers while transferring ice cream to an airtight container. Do not add the pieces to the ice cream while still churning.

I might have to make the crust and then accidentally eat it all before putting it to good use. 😉
