Easy Chicken Fajitas

  • 1 lb. boneless chicken or steak sliced into thin strips.
  • 1 small red or yellow onion thinly sliced
  • 1 small green bell pepper thinly sliced
  • 1 small red bell pepper thinly sliced
  • 1 small yellow bell pepper thinly sliced
  • 2-3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 pouch Simply Organic Fajita Simmer Sauce
  1. Heat a large pan to medium-high on the stove.
  2. Add about 1Tbsp. oil, then add all your vegetables. Stir fry until some of the edges start to blacken. Remove from the pan.
  3. Turn the heat down to medium and add about 1 Tbsp. more oil to the pan. Add the chicken and stir fry until no longer pink.
  4. Add the vegetables back into the pan.
  5. Open the pouch of simmer sauce and pour it over everything. Stir and let simmer for about 3 minutes.
  6. Remove from the heat and spoon into small tortillas. Top with sour cream, guacamole, salsa, and cheese if desired. Or simply squeeze some lime juice over the top.
