Servings: 8
Author: Melissa Howell
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 cups cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 package instant banana cream pudding mix (half of a 5.1 oz. box)
  • 1-2 bananas cut in very small chunks
  • 1 baked pie crust, broken in pieces
  1. Mix the whole milk and sugar together until the sugar has dissolved.
  2. Add the instant banana cream pudding mix and begin stirring.

  3. Add the 2 cups of cream and continue stirring until everything is well-blended
  4. Pour into your ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer's directions.
  5. A couple of minutes before turning off the machine, add your small banana pieces. Let the ice cream continue to churn until the bananas have been well distributed throughout the ice cream.
  6. Transfer to an airtight container in layers, dropping the pie crust pieces on each layer. (You may only use about half of the pie crust).
  7. Freeze for several hours or overnight.
  8. Serve with a large dollop of whipped cream.
