Pretty Pesto

Ingredients
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves packed
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic
  • 3 Tbsp. pine nuts or other nuts like walnuts pecans, or cashews
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese fresh is best, but powdered can be used
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
Instructions
  1. Wash and dry basil.
  2. Place basil along with all other ingredients in a blender.
  3. Pulse until mixture forms a thick puree.
